David M. Newman, PE, CEM, LEED-AP, CEA
VICE PRESIDENT, ENGINEERINGWith more than 20 years of diverse experience on the Energia Team, David is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to the sales, project development and engineering teams as well as Energia’s customers. His professional experience at Energia has spanned every aspect of Energy Performance Projects, from the very beginning of project development, creation of the final project, engineering design & permitting, construction and measurement and verification.
Rob Sullivent, PE, CEM, CMVP, CBCP, CDSM
VICE PRESIDENT OF CLIENT SOLUTIONSRob is responsible for overseeing the management and execution for all Energia energy performance contracts and capital projects from project development through delivery. He has more than 35 years of experience in engineering design, facilities operations, and energy efficiency with an emphasis on public sector (K-12, state, city, county, healthcare and federal) clients.
Veronica Niter
Vice President of Business DevelopmentVeronica is responsible for identifying strategic opportunities, forging key partnerships, and driving revenue growth through new business initiatives. She is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience developing and implementing tailored solutions within the K-16 market.
Matthew Kazubowski, RA, AIA, NCARB, LEED-GA
VICE PRESIDENT OF ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNMatthew leads the architectural design process for Energia’s Energy Performance projects. With more than 25 years of experience in energy-efficient architectural design, including large scale solar PV, Matthew has an unparalleled portfolio of school related projects.
Harold Friedman
SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERHarold is responsible for overseeing the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) designs of Energia’s projects and serves as a primary client representative during the entire design phase and construction process. He has more than 30 years of experience with all aspects of the MEP engineering discipline as well as field investigation.

Business Development ManagerAs Business Development Manager for Energia, Renee is responsible for managing client relationships and business development. She is very active in local conferences and events, focusing her efforts on educating school district leadership on the impact energy-efficient facilities have in creating world-class learning environments.

Business Development ManagerWith over 15 years in public education, Brandon, as a Business Development Manager at Energia, supports district leaders in advocating for equitable resources and implementing innovative facilities to elevate educational opportunities for all students. His expertise enables tailored solutions, aiming to empower school districts and improve outcomes.
Megan Eddington
Business Development ManagerMegan is responsible for identifying and targeting potential clients through comprehensive market research and lead generation efforts. She nurtures strong, trust-based relationships with clients while effectively presenting Energia’s services and showcasing how we address client-specific needs and deliver unique value.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGERJustin is responsible for aiding with technical aspects of projects from conception to completion including mechanical, electrical and plumbing design.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERMichael is responsible for energy benchmarking studies, analysis of RFP responses from ESCOs, and overseeing the development of Comprehensive Energy Audits.
Anthony Ottaviano
STAFF ENGINEERAnthony Ottaviano is a staff engineer for Energia, responsible for supporting MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) engineering design services for both Energy Performance Projects and Capital Projects.

DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATIONKim provides executive-level support to Energia’s management team and oversees the firm’s day-to-day administrative operations.
Kris Sullivent
Senior Sales CoordinatorKris Sullivent is responsible for the Sales Coordination at Energia. She has over 20 years experience in supporting sales and management teams and has previously worked for several companies including Johnson Controls and Clifford Power Systems.

Jackie Mushorn
Project AdministratorJackie provides turnkey administrative support for the Engineering Design and Construction Teams. She is responsible for the preparation, processing and submission of all New York State K-12 projects to the NY State Education Department (NYSED), including all required NYSED paperwork and filings throughout the entire project design and construction process.
Denise Fletcher
Administrative AssistantWith over two decades of expertise, Denise adeptly supports Energia’s Executive Team by meticulously managing their schedules, conducting comprehensive market research, and promptly attending to various ad hoc requests.
